Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our team. As a Massage Therapist at TruRelief Wellness Massage & Acupuncture, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of our clients by delivering exceptional massage therapy services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform various massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and other modalities.
- Assess clients’ specific needs and customize massage sessions accordingly.
- Maintain accurate client records and treatment notes.
- Educate clients on the benefits of massage and provide guidance on post-session care.
- Ensure a clean and organized workspace.
- Comply with all clinic policies and procedures.
- Stay current on industry trends and continuously expand your knowledge and skills.
Qualifications:
- Alberta licensure and certification as a Massage Therapist.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- A passion for helping clients achieve their health and wellness goals.
- Professionalism and a strong commitment to ethical practices.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus but not required for entry-level positions.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a massage clinic or multidisciplinary wellness centre.
- Additional certifications or specializations in massage therapy.
